La Gustosa Vita is a picnic collection inspired by the landscapes and foods of Tuscany. While in San Miniato, I was surrounded by some of the most enchanting, rolling countryside that I have seen. The whole time I felt as if I were in a painting. Perhaps what was even more delightful was the food culture of the area. I was immersed in a heritage of care and attention to food: truly an eminent preoccupation. As I sat there looking out over the gardens at Santa Chiara I imagined strolling through the orchards, picnic in hand, and settling under a tree with a view of the valley below; food and wine in hand, I would sit in the company of companions enjoying our laughter and the sweeping sunset.
La Gustosa Vita encourages all to pack up provisions, gather friends and family and get outside to enjoy life and its delectable moments.
