On December 8th and 9th, 2014 the Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium organized in Tokyo two workshops for the students of two major design schools, the Bunka Fashion College and Hiko Mizuno College of Jewelry, to present them the peculiarities of vegetable tanned leather, a material of long tradition made in Tuscany.
“Craft The Leather on the Road”, is an itinerant program dedicated to the international fashion and design schools exploring the culture, tradition and innovative possibilities of a product of local excellence: Tuscan Vegetable-tanned Leather.
